Overview
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is used to manage client information, track interactions, and streamline workflows. AppVentory supports CRM integrations that import client data directly into the platform for simplified client management.
Xero Practice Manager (XPM) is a cloud-based practice management solution designed for accountants, bookkeepers, and professional service firms. Integration with XPM enables the automatic import of client data into AppVentory, ensuring that information remains accurate and up-to-date.
Note: CRM integrations, including XPM, are only available when the Practice Version of AppVentory is enabled. When the Business Version is selected, CRM integration options are not displayed under the Integrations page.
Connecting Xero Practice Manager (XPM) to AppVentory
Follow the steps below to connect Xero Practice Manager:
Enable Practice Version
Open AppVentory and switch to Practice Version.
CRM integration options become available on the Integrations page once Practice Version is active.
Access CRM Integration
Navigate to Integrations > CRM.
Select Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
Click Connect Now.
Log in with Xero Credentials
A login window for Xero will appear.
Enter registered Xero credentials.
Note: XPM accounts must be created in Xero prior to integration. Account creation cannot be completed directly from AppVentory.
Approve Access
Authorize the connection by granting AppVentory access to Xero Practice Manager data.
Once access is granted, the XPM account status will show as Active within AppVentory.
Verify Connection
After integration, connection details can be viewed under the settings menu.
Available options include:
Overview: General details of the connection.
Sync History: Record of data synchronization.
Activities: Logs of recent activity related to the integration.
Note: Unlike accounting software connections, the XPM integration requires an active paid subscription with Xero Practice Manager. Integration cannot be completed without an active XPM account.
