Understanding AppVentory integrations

See how AppVentory groups its integrations and which ones build the core software, user and spend picture.

What you get

A simple mental model for the Integrations area before you connect anything.

The two primary integration families

Accounting software brings in the financial side of the software stack: organisations, software-related vendors, spend and transactions.

Identity / Workspace providers bring in the people and application side: users, applications, user-to-app relationships and the activity signals available from the connected provider.

Together, these two families give AppVentory the strongest view of what software exists, who is associated with it, how it is being used and what it costs.

Secondary workflow integrations

Other integration categories have a narrower purpose:

  • Practice CRM helps advisors bring client records into AppVentory.
  • Email Provider lets AppVentory send outbound communications using a configured delivery provider and sender identity.
  • MCP lets supported AI assistants query the AppVentory data available to the signed-in account. It is read-only.

The browser extension sits alongside these integrations as another source of browser-based usage evidence.

Live versus Coming Soon

The Integrations screen can show both available and future connectors. A connector marked Coming Soon is not available to connect yet and should not be treated as part of a live setup flow.

What you've unlocked

You can now choose integrations based on the data or workflow you need rather than treating every connector as equivalent.
