Roll out the browser extension to your team

Build browser-based usage coverage so AppVentory can add a stronger usage signal to licence and adoption reviews.

What you get

An additional usage signal beyond identity-provider access. The extension is intended to help distinguish between a user being associated with an application and browser-based evidence that the application is actually being opened and used.

Use that difference to create a licence-review list — not an automatic cancellation list.

Before you start

Your identity provider connected, and a short message to your colleagues in your own words. It lands better than an unexplained invitation.

Steps

  1. Go to Organization and open the Users tab.
  2. The banner at the top shows how many people have installed it.
  3. Click Roll Out Extension to send the invitation.
  4. Use Send Reminder after a few days for anyone outstanding.
