Portfolio Intelligence Agent

Configure AppVentory to monitor the client portfolio and surface the signals that matter to your Practice.

What you get

A live Agent that scans the client portfolio using the scope, alert types and thresholds you choose, then surfaces the resulting findings for review.

The Portfolio Intelligence Agent is the first live AppVentory Agent. It is designed for Practice users who need a faster way to answer: Which clients and issues need my attention now?

1. Choose what the Agent monitors

Open Agents from My Practice and select Portfolio Intelligence Agent.

Choose the client scope you want the Agent to cover:

  • All Clients — every client in the portfolio
  • Engaged Clients — clients with their own AppVentory access
  • Silent Clients — clients managed by the Practice

Then select the insight types you want it to monitor. The current configuration supports signals including overlapping apps, problematic apps, renewal alerts and stale integrations.

2. Set detection thresholds

Thresholds define when a signal is important enough to surface. Only the detection areas you selected appear here.

Examples include:

  • minimum potential savings for overlapping apps
  • minimum annual spend for problematic apps
  • number of days ahead for renewal alerts
  • number of days since an integration became stale

You can change the values before moving on.

3. Choose when it runs

Set the Agent to run on the schedule available in the configuration screen. The Agent uses your selected frequency and time for future scans.

The schedule is there so portfolio review does not depend on somebody remembering to open each client workspace manually.

4. Choose what happens with the findings

The recommendation feed is the core output and remains enabled. Depending on the actions available in your account, you can also choose connected destinations such as Slack or task-management tools.

5. Review before publishing

Before activating the Agent, review its client scope, detection thresholds, schedule and actions. Where available, use Test Run to preview what the current configuration would surface without adding those results to the live feed.

Publishing activates the configuration for future scheduled runs.

What the Agent does not replace

The Agent prioritises and explains signals. It does not remove the need to validate an individual finding before acting on it. For example, an overlap or low-usage signal is still something to review in context before it becomes a client recommendation.

What you've unlocked

You now have an automated portfolio-level review layer that can bring selected AppVentory signals to you on a repeatable schedule.
