# Generate a report for one organisation
## Turn the current AppVentory data for one business or client into a review document you can check before sharing.
#### What you get
A structured report built from the AppVentory data available for one organisation. Use it as a review document for your own business or, where applicable, for a client.
The reporting workflow is shared, although the report options available can differ between your own organisation and a client.
#### Steps
1. Go to **Dashboard** and click **Generate Report**.
2. Choose the report that fits the conversation:
- **Preliminary Financial Review** — A first look — spend, forecast, renewals, headline savings
- **Comprehensive Financial Review** — The full financial picture for a review meeting
- **System Review** — The whole stack — spend, risk, compliance, initiatives
1. Check the readiness list the dialog shows you before generating — see **What goes into a report**.
2. Generate. The PDF lands in **Reports**, under **My Business Reports** or **My Client Reports**.

#### For a client
Open the client's record and use its **Reports** tab, or go to **Reports** → **Generate Report For** and pick the client. Client reports add three one-page options — **Software Spend Visibility**, **Compliance & Data Security** and **Digital Transformation** — alongside the full reviews.
#### Finding it again
**Reports** keeps every generated PDF with who made it and when. Open, download or email from there.
#### What you've unlocked
You can now turn the current state of one organisation into a document that is easier to review, discuss and revisit later.
